One
South Penn railroad structure that is today still being used as it was
intended to be used for is this overpass. It is located just north east
of Somerset and allows the tracks of the B&O railroad to be crossed
over. like all the other structures it to was built in the 1880s. If
you look through the tunnel, you can see the road that runs alongside highway
219 but more to the east. This view is facing north east in the area that
the South Penn's bypassing of Somerset.
